Along the main highway to the beach set town of Maroochydore you will come across a strange looking building by the name of the Ettamogah Pub which was originally a comic book back in the 1960s and 1970s. You will be able to tell the one that I mean because it is the only pub that has an old car stuck on the high roof that according to the comics was stranded up there after a flash flood. This recreated masterpiece of entertainment and fun is a great place to take the family because just next door is Aussie World with more attractions like rides, displays and luge.
The Big Pineapple is another great theme park that you should drop in to see which will unravel the secrets of how these exotic fruits became the harvest of the Queensland area. With all of the fresh fruit and foods that this area is able to supply just dinning out is an experience of its own. Not too far away from both of these attractions is my personal favorite the Ginger Factory where the ginger flavor is put into so many delicious foods. You can also ride the miniature train to have a look around the farm lands where the magic happens.
These attractions are in an area that is known as the Sunshine Coast which is a large part of south east Queensland. There are many attractions around this vast area which you will need a car to get to. Car hire Maroochydore airport tells its customers that with their large fleet and comparative prices you will be able to rent a car for your entire holiday that will not set you back very much money at all.

The first thing that pops into my mind when I hear the name Maroochydore is golden sands, surf life savers and beautiful girls in swim suits. Traveling here for our Christmas break is the best part of my year because during the summer time there is no better place to be than in a beach town right on the water front. My grandmother has lived in Maroochydore since she was just a little girl and we go to stay with her at least twice a year. The cheapest way to get there from Brisbane is to catch a bus and then pick up our rental car from the car hire Maroochydore airport agents. then we drive to grans house and unload our bags and walk straight down to the beach.
Grandma is always glad to see us, probably because we bring here really cool Christmas presents each year but she is also very happy to see her grandson. She likes to take him shopping down at the Maroochydore mall and spoils him with treats and presents. The Sunshine Coast is a very popular place to visit during this time of the year so we always make sure we book a hire car in advance. It would be the same deal if we needed to stay in a hotel or resort but booking with grandma just goes without saying. As we get older there is the general idea that my wife and I will get a nice place in Maroochydore to retire and settle I our old age. but until then I am just happy to visit several times a year and see grandma at Christmas time.
